Hi! I'm happy to be a part of Suite101 and look forward to both learning and contributing to this great site.
I am a married mother of 4 and have been self-employed for several years now, running my own residential cleaning business. Prior to this, I homeschooled 2 of my children for a total of 4 years before enrolling them in public schools and beginning my service. I enjoy working for myself and have always loved to write, so I decided to explore freelance writing.
I have been doing freelance work for about 6 months now and have written articles on a number of sites. While I began with sites such as Hubpages, Helium and Textbroker, I have since moved on to others including eHow, Constant Content and now, Suite101. I hope to continue growing in my skills as a freelance writer and be able to contribute meaningful articles for those looking for such information.
I have written on a variety of topics and enjoy challenging myself as a writer by continuing to expand the topic base of my articles. However, I tend to gravitate toward articles on subjects such as self-employment and small business, children, family and home issues, education, mental health and alternative health. These subjects are of special interest to me due to their importance in my own personal life and I consequently feel drawn to share such information with others.
